Taste the difference of tradition. Experience the purity of Kakudam.

Reviving the Vedic Tradition of Purity

At Kakudam we believe that milk is not just a drink; it is an elixir of life, a source of vitality, and a connection to our ancient roots. In a world of mass-produced, processed dairy, Kakudam stands as a guardian of purity, bringing the golden goodness of pure Gir Cow (A2) milk directly from our farm to your family’s table.
Kakudam, is not a business model—it is a way of life. While many speak about purity, we practice it every single day through our choices, our processes, and our respect for the Gir cow. Kakudam was created to preserve what modern dairy has forgotten: patience, honesty, and reverence for nature.
Our Mission
To nurture a healthier generation by reviving the lost glory of Indian dairy.
We started Kakudam with a simple realization: the milk in our markets had lost its soul. It was no longer the immunity-boosting nectar described in our scriptures. We wanted to change that. We are on a mission to provide milk that is:
100% Natural: No hormones, no preservatives, and no adulteration.
Scientifically Superior: Rich in A2 Beta-Casein protein, which is easy to digest and closest to mother’s milk.
Ethically Sourced: Produced with love and compassion.
The Kakudam Difference: Happy Cows, Healthy Milk
We don't run a factory; we run a home for our cows. We believe that the energy of the food you eat depends on how it was produced.
Free Grazing: Our Gir cows are not tied up in stalls. They graze freely under the open sky, feeding on natural organic fodder and medicinal herbs.
Ahinsak (Non-Violent) Milking: We strictly follow the method of Dohan. The calf always has the first right to the mother’s milk. We only milk the cows after the calf is fed and satisfied.
No Hormones: We never use oxytocin or antibiotic injections to boost production. We accept whatever quantity nature provides.
In a market where many use similar words, Kakudam stands apart through practice, not promises.
We do not outsource responsibility
We do not compromise cow welfare for margins
We do not alter nature to suit logistics
Every product you receive reflects time, care, and intention.
The Significance of "Kakudam"
Our name is our philosophy. In Sanskrit, 'Kakudam' refers to the magnificent hump of the Indian Indigenous Cow.
According to Ayurveda, the hump of the Gir Cow contains the Surya Ketu Nadi (vein). When this hump absorbs the energy of the sun, it produces gold salts in the cow's blood, which are then transferred to the milk. This is what gives Gir cow milk its slight golden hue and its miraculous health benefits. By naming ourselves Kakudam, we honor the source of this nourishment—the majestic Gir Cow.
Our Process:
We intentionally stay away from industrial shortcuts.
Milk is handled minimally and processed fresh
Ghee is prepared using traditional bilona churning
Curd and buttermilk are naturally set, without cultures or chemicals
No preservatives, no enhancers, no synthetic additives
What reaches you is what leaves the cow, both in nutrition and in spirit.
Kakudam follows a small-batch, demand-based approach, ensuring that our cows are never over-milked and our products are never over-processed. This allows us to maintain:
Natural lactation cycles
Better cow health and longevity
Higher nutritional integrity of milk
For us, growth means depth of trust, not scale at any cost.
Our Place: Rooted in Nature
Kakudam’s farms are located away from industrial zones, surrounded by open land and clean air. This natural environment:
Reduces stress on cows
Improves fodder quality
Preserves the natural aroma, taste, and texture of milk
Our location is not just geography—it is part of the purity chain.
